Most improved is the greatest award one can achieve in my opinion. It's an amazing honored to be recognized as someone who's improved drastically. I'm very proud of you. Growing and getting better is something you are VERY good at Elle. It's and amazing trait that will serve you will in life. Don't ever stop.

I'm glad you liked Momentum. Overcoming our fears is hard, good for you in being able to do that.

I couldn't agree more, says your great Aunt Michelle who is also known for her hunting. Precisely the reason for contemplating and deciding not to go to S. Africa after paying for it. If I can't eat it then why shoot it? However, the remaining question.."If you can eat it THEN would you kill it and hand it's head on the wall???

Elle, (aks chopsticks) I am not surprised. It's funny but we always say how much you are like Johanna. So congratulations again for being a star student who strives as hard at school as you do using chopsticks! I'm sure Cricket and Mermaid are following close behind. So to show how much you do take after Johanna here are a couple of her teachers' comments that I just recently received from Interlcohen Academy:

Johanna is one of those students who make me wonder
if I am giving her enough to feed her intellect and imagination: she
figuratively eats up everything I give her, and then asks for more! As I said in our
conference, she is doing a terrific job in my class, including a very funny
Comedy Report she gave on Oct. 16. Johanna created her own stand-up comedy
routine, a satiric "take-down" of our recent Symposium. She neatly demonstrated
several forms ofcomedy, engaged the whole class in a rich discussion,
and made us all laugh. Johanna has just taken her second essay exam, and the
next major assignment will be a 1,000-word critical essay on Twain's The
Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.

Comments:

Johanna has had an excellent start in Parties, with
solid class participation and great work on quizzes. She clearly has an aptitude
for politics and she possesses skillful writing abilities. I look forward
to seeing how well she performs in the second term of the course.

I am a proud Great Aunt who will proudly attest to Ava's amazing wisdom! While playing hide and seek with Elle and Keena last week at the Mountain House I was counting with my eyes closed when I paused 1 2 3 4 .. 8 and Ava chimed in with 9 10.. I uncovered my eyes in disbelief! to find that yes indeed it was little Ava counting. Who knows she might be the next Mastermind in the family! xo Michelle

What a sweet girl. We watched a program a few nights ago where families live out of their cars. The kids who live in the cars were interviewed. I made sure the girls watched with me so they could see how good they have it and how not so good others might have it. We also pray for people who do not have as much quite often. So not to toot my own horn but I am proud some of this has stuck with her,she is a beautiful soul.
